Using my favorite toaster makes me happy.
Today I'm in the mood for a bright looking croque-monsieur and omelet.
Weekday breakfast recipes
Smoked salmon and avocado croque monsieur
Ingredients
・ Dressing・・・2 tablespoons
・ White bread (6 slices in a pack) ・ ・ ・ 2 slices
・ Smoked salmon ・ ・ ・ 30g
・ Avocado ・ ・ ・ 30g (1/4 piece)
・ Mixed cheese ・ ・ ・ 60g
・ White sauce (commercially available) ・ ・ ・ 30g
Instructions
①Spread the mixed cheese on a slice of bread. Arrange the sliced smoked salmon and sliced avocado.
Drizzle a dressing, and top with the other slice of bread.
Coat the sandwiches with white sauce and a sprinkle of mixed cheese.
②Place the bread on a baking tray. Bake at 240℃ for about 3 minutes 30 seconds - 4 minutes,
③Cut ❷ and serve and enjoy immediately.
Spanish omelette
Ingredients
・Dressing for beaten egg・・・1 tablespoons
・Dressing for sauté・・・1 tablespoons
・Bacon・・・30g
・Red bell peppers・・・30g ・Eggs・・・3 (150g)
・Mesclun greens・・・some ・Cherry tomatoes・・・3
・Parmigiano Reggiano・・・some ・Dressing ・・・some
Instructions
①Slice bacon and red bell peppers into strips.
②In a large bowl, beat the eggs together with the dressing.
③In a skillet, pour the dressing and ❶ mixture into the skillet over medium heat, and cook stirring with a spatula.
④Place the skillet on a toaster. Bake at 250℃ for about 4 minutes - 5 minutes,
⑤Add the mesclun greens and halved cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle parmigiano reggiano. Season with dressing and serve.
